Fall trip

Rocky Mountain National Park...just an hour's drive from my house...people come from all over the world to see it and I seldom drive up there.  It's beautiful...I need to go more often!!

More Zoe

She's here!!!  The miracle baby has arrived...a very exciting, emotional, rewarding, happy day.

Baby shower

Yea!!!  She finally made it past bed rest and is happily up and around.  There were many days when we thought she'd never get this far...it's so wonderful!!  The theme was softball...a surprise to her...Michele's passion...she played it in high school, college and still to this day...they're having a girl and hoping she'll play.  Those are Michele's mitt and shoes.

Her friend, Betsy made these "softball" cupcakes...very cute!

This quilt was made by her grandma and great-grandma MANY years ago...I've been carrying it around just hoping she'd need it someday.

Farm Day

Buying a share in a local organic farm CSA gives me very fresh produce...and introduces me to new vegies.  They have been unable to hire enough farmhands so asked for volunteers.  I volunteered...why???  I was soooooo exhausted after four hours of picking tomatoes it took two glasses of wine, a long soak in the tub and a nap for me to recuperate.

Steamboat Springs

Wonderful couple of days in Steamboat Springs with Matt's family.  Went for the balloon festival.

Emma and Abby are taking golf lessons and I took her today because mom took Abby to the orthodontist.

June Brunch

Love my kitchen but it's a little narrow and I decided that putting glass in some of the doors would help...and it did.  Thanks to my brother, Edward, for doing the update.

Small town living...

I joined a local CSA...the vegetable shares are just too much for me, but I'm getting a 1/2 egg share and a bread share. And the pickup site is close enough that I can ride my bike...LOVE living in a small town.

Joel and Julianne

One of the summer's highlights, the visit from Joel and Julianne.  They live in Indiana and we only get to see them twice a year.   This get-together was at Michele's...she was still on bed rest...and ate pizza, played games and enjoyed the time together.
